The company was founded in 1892 and is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.

                  GE Oil & Gas is a component of the GE GE Energy Group, which also includes GE Energy Management and GE's Department of Energy and Water.

              GE Oil & Gas may be a world leader in advanced technology equipment and services for all sectors of the oil and gas industry, from excavation to downstream production.
